Thanks to the Internet Archive’s Wayback Machine we were able to recover most of the original site after our previous host got hacked back in late April.

We’ve done our best to get the main site navigation working and those to the authors’ websites, but there are many invalid external links on the site, especially those leading to the long gone eBay auctions.

Rebuilding the site!

After the site crashed at the end of April we held out hope that the host would recover the site from the supposed nightly backups, but they answered none of our support tickets, forum posts, or e-mails (apparently we weren’t the only ones getting this treatment). We’ve finally decided to rebuild the site from scratch. It won’t look exactly like it did, but we felt Project Book Babe should live on.

The site will continue to be a monument to the original event thrown for Faith Hochhalter on April 4th, 2009.

We are considering resurrecting the event to help others survive breast cancer.
