Faith, I met in Phoenix in April and loved you immediately. I have thought of you often since then and embarassingly enough just discovered this blog today. Your courage and strength are inspiring and I thank you so much for that. Cancer has wreaked havoc on my own family. My father and both of my grandfathers fought valiantly but lost. My cute 10 year cousin (at the time), won and has been doing well for 20 years, now a mother of 4. I, myself have had a brush with cervical cancer and after to "icky" surgeries have been okay for 7 years. Hang in the sister! We are with you!!!

Glad to hear you are getting some energy back! Especially while in radiation. It can certainly zap more than just your skin. Keep up the great attitude!

Shannon- I am sorry to hear about your friend, I totally agree that this whole cancer thing has to stop. Give her my best, I will send good thoughts her way.
Bill- Malky would love to have new kitties in the house, he would say "Mmmmm, lunch".

Faith, did we tell you that we took in some cats that were left by foreclosed neighbors? Including a mother and her eight kittens we now have 14 cats in the house. You probably need a few more, don't you?

Ouch. I once had a sunburn so bad I actually took an ice bath to stop the burning (*shivers at the memory*) and I bet it was nothing on what you've been enduring. I'm so sorry. At least you're almost done!

And thank you again for sharing your journey with the world. I just found out this week that one of my friends was diagnosed with breast cancer (that makes 3 people I know battling cancer now...this HAS to stop!) so I plan to send her to your blog so she can read a real survivor's story. I'm sure she'll enjoy it as much as I have (if not more so, given that she can relate to it personally).

Hope the change in treatment helps with the burn. Feel better!
