Say goodbye boys…

May 13, 2009 @ 12:33 am by The Book Babe - Uncategorized

My surgery is less than 12 hours away and I have decided to have both the girls taken. I figured that would be easier in the long run. Also, it means I can start taking archery lessons. Not that that was the basis of my decision, merely a happy bi-product.

For all those boys who wanted to see the girls and never did……it sucks to be you.

Archery lessons…{snark} See what I mean?

Remember, one day soon you will have new and possibly improved girls. And certainly girls that didn’t try to kill you.

Love ya

Faith ~ a quick prayer for you:

Father – I uplift my fellow cancer sister to you right now and ask that you keep her calm and give her your healing power as she endures this surgery. I thank you for her life and her courage that she displays as she touches people she doesn’t know just by her amazing attitude! I pray that you will be with the doctors, nurses, staff, and all of Faith’s family during the surgery so all will give her peace and strength! Father, you alone know why you sent Faith on this cancer journey and I pray that you bless her through it all! In Jesus name I pray ~ Amen.

ps – my brother sent me a sympathy card for my girls when I had surgery – it was touching AND funny all at once…….. ;o) So sympathy for the loss of your girls and joyous jubilation for life!

I’ll continue to pray today and the weeks ahead….

While I can’t say I never noticed the girls, I can say it’s not the girls that makes me enjoy your company.

You’re in my prayers, kiddo. And we can’t wait to show you the new house.
